Tack of the Day Content Writing Opportunity Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in writing for Tack of the Day to provide unique Equestrian related content for our website and blog.

By submitting our form and expressing interest, you agree that any submission of an example of your work to our company is original and you are the writer of the content and have ownership of any photographs that accompany the writing. We use online plagiarism software to scan the internet to make sure the content that is submitted is original.

Tack of the Day will be selecting blog writers based on the quality of the initial response you provide. By applying to write, you are not guaranteed to be selected, however you will be notified either way. If rejected you may re-apply with a new sample. Attempts are limited to two.

Tack of the Day will not publish or use any content you submit as a sample without your express signoff and written permission. Sample articles are used to invite you to our private Facebook writers group.

Requirements for content creation will include article word length, number of photographs, keywords and topic of interest and gift certificate award value (Between $50 and $150).

Articles are first come first served and will be posted to our private Facebook group, the first writer to accept the assignment shall have up to 7 days to produce the article.

The maximum award any single writer may receive in one calendar year is $600.

Gift certificates awarded cannot be redeemed for cash.

If you receive compensation, you will be required to sign a digital release agreement and in exchange for the compensation. Tack of the Day will have full copyright and ownership of the final work and images to be published and distributed as and where we see fit.

Writers must be over 18 at the time of submitting their work.

This opportunity is limited to residents of the USA and Canada.
