What riders say about B Vertigo breeches, tights and show jackets

Riders tell us what they notice first: grip, waist height, fabric weight and how the size runs.

B Vertigo Aurelia Thermo Tights

★★★★★

These are the warmest breeches I've found. They're technically tights, but they have the look of breeches. They are thick with a fleece lining, so I can wear them when it's in the 20s. I love the high waist (higher in the back). The full seat grip isn't too sticky, it's just right. I have a pair in navy, and I loved them so much, I got them in the khaki color too.

B Vertigo Tiffany Full Seat Breeches

★★★★★

I love these breeches for showing, have slowly replaced all my other show breeches with these over the last few years. They run large, at least one full size if not a smidge more. Thin, breathable material that is great for summer days without being too transparent in white.

B Vertigo Gabrielle Mesh Show Jacket

★★★★★

This jacket is very well made and perfect for hot hot weather. To me, it feels like riding in a tee shirt. It looks nice, is tailored, not tight in any way so completely unrestrictive. I wore it in Temecula at Galway in August and it was perfect because it is mesh, but not seethrough. Excellent product!

B Vertigo Dana Padded Thermo Breeches

★★★★★

Love these winter riding pants! I have two pairs now and since I get cold easily I wear them all the time over my regular riding pants. I have recommended them to several of my friends and all love them

Breeches and outerwear are what riders reach for most at B Vertigo

B Vertigo breeches: full seat, knee patch or thermo tights

Jumpers and dressage riders usually choose full seat B Vertigo breeches, where the silicone grip covers the whole seat. Hunter riders choose knee patch, including on the flat. Fleece-lined thermo breeches and tights cover the cold months.

The Tiffany is the high-waisted style, sold in full seat and in knee patch. The Meghan sits lower, with a wide mid-rise waistband and a lightweight, water-repellent stretch fabric. The Justine and the Aurelia add a fleece lining for winter riding, with thigh pockets that hold a phone.

Men's Damien breeches come in full seat and in knee patch. B Vertigo breeches use European sizing, written as EU/US pairs like EU 36/US 24, and riders tell us the Tiffany runs about a full size large, so check the sizing table below.

Finish the look with the Charlotta long-sleeved show shirt and the Lux show gloves, which have a stretch mesh back with crystal detail, a stretchy suede-style palm and a touch-screen thumb.

About B Vertigo and the Equinavia family of brands

Fred Erik Nilsen brought B Vertigo to US riders in 2007, together with Horze, through his company Finntack, which held the sole US distribution. In 2025 the Nilsens launched Equinavia, their own brand, and B Vertigo now sits in the Equinavia family of brands at Tack of the Day alongside Horze and Tredstep. B Vertigo is a distributed brand, not an Equinavia label.

Breeches are still the core of the range. Today B Vertigo also makes show jackets and shirts, winter coats, training tops, gloves and boots, with saddle pads, ear nets and halters to match.
