Veredus is an Italian maker of horse boots and protective gear, and Equinavia is its exclusive US distributor. Veredus sits on the Horse side because its boots are horse boots: the range here runs from Pro-Jump ankle boots and TRPro front boots to STS safety bell boots and Safety Bell Light boots.

Horse sizes are the one thing to settle before you shop. Here is what each category runs in, taken from the Tack of the Day catalog.
| Category | Sizes in the catalog | How to choose |
|---|---|---|
| Blankets | Mostly 48 to 84 inches, some EU/US pairs such as EU 125/US 66, and Small to XX Large on coolers | Measure from the center of the chest along the side of the body to the point of the buttock, and pick that size. |
| Horse boots | Pony, Cob, Horse and Large Horse, or Small to XX Large | Use the size chart on the style; sizing differs between bell, brushing and tendon boots. |
| Bridles | Small Pony, Pony, Cob, Horse, Large Horse | Pick the size for your horse's head; Cob sits between Pony and Horse. |
| Saddle pads | Horse and Pony; Small, Medium and Large on some half pads | Match the pad to your saddle and discipline. |
| Girths | Inches from 22 to 56, and centimeters on some | Match the length of the girth you ride in now. |
Sizing by category: blankets, horse boots, bridles.
Fred Erik Nilsen brought Horze and B Vertigo to US riders in 2007 under his company Finntack, with sole US distribution rights. In 2025 the Nilsens launched Equinavia, a separate brand and company of their own. Equinavia is now Horze's sole US distributor.
Equinavia is also the exclusive US distributor of Veredus. Horze and Equinavia horse gear share this page because riders shop them together.
Riders tell us how these hold up in the barn, at the show and in the field.
★★★★★
Darling and they fit my pony super; it's very difficult to find boots for ponies, so these were a great find!
Equinavia Thunder360 Detachable Neck Mid Weight Turnout Blanket 200g
★★★★★
I adore this blanket. It’s held up so well and keeps my horse clean and warm and dry even in some of our crazy winter weather or when she rolls in the mud. It cleans off easily and I also get so many compliments on it. No blanket rubs and it’s easy on and off. My favorite blanket by far!
★★★★★
I picked this up to put under my saddle for hunter shows to give my horse more cushion with the white fleece show pad. Worked like a dream--kept the saddle in place and gave extra bump in the back of the saddle to help it sit higher. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Equinavia Algard Soft Mesh Long Nose Fly Mask
★★★★★
This mask is one of the best I've found and perfect for my fly-sensitive guy. The mesh is lightweight and the seams are very breathable. I found that it does run big though. I ordered a full size for my smallish horse and it could have fit a Clydesdale! The cob size is perfect!
Horze Vienna Weymouth Dressage Bridle
★★★★★
Lovely and affordable double bridle that comes with the reins! So many do not come with reins. Nice leather and fits my horse well. Plenty of room for his “donkey” ears and refined and not bulky. Very happy with it.
★★★★★
This is my second purchase of this halter. Love it. Soft and strong, as well as attractive
No. Horze is a separate brand, and Equinavia is its sole US distributor. Equinavia also makes its own line, launched in 2025. Both are on this page because riders shop them together.
CloseEquinavia makes its turnouts in 100 gram light, 200 gram mid and 300 gram heavy weights, and as sheets with no fill. Pick the fill for how cold your horse gets, then the denier for how hard he is on a blanket: Norse is 600D, Arktis is 1200D and Thunder360 is 1680D.
CloseMeasure from the center of the chest along the side of the body to the point of the buttock. Most blanket sizes run from 48 to 84 inches, and the size on the style is the number of inches.
CloseVeredus has its own horse boots page, and Equinavia is the exclusive US distributor of Veredus. Veredus has no riding boots; it makes horse boots and horse care products.
CloseChoose the cut that matches your saddle. Dressage pads have a longer, straighter flap, jump pads are cut forward for a shorter stirrup, and all purpose pads sit between the two. Equinavia and Horze make all three.
