Irideon Women's Cadence Classic Knee Patch Breeches

Tack of the Day groups 19 brands into the Toklat family, including Irideon, Roeckl, Myler, Woof Wear and Bucas. Shop their bits, saddle pads, riding breeches, gloves, horse boots and blankets in one place.

The Toklat brands and what each one makes

The Toklat brands split by job: Irideon makes riding apparel, Roeckl gloves, Myler bits, Woof Wear horse boots, Bucas blankets and T3 saddle pads. Each card below opens that brand with its full range.

Toklat bits: Myler comfort bits, Toklat snaffles and Zilco hackamores

Myler makes most of the family's bits, and its range runs from the Level 1 Loose Ring French Link MB 10, a more comfortable version of the traditional French link, to low-port comfort snaffles such as the MB 04 and shanked bits such as the Weymouth Wide Ported Barrel MB 16PB. Riders tell us Myler's articulated mouthpieces are kind on the tongue and bars.

Toklat's own bits cover loose ring and full cheek snaffles, including the Cyprium 1/4 Moon Snaffle, whose cyprium center acts like copper in encouraging salivation. For a horse that does best without a bit, the Zilco Flower Hackamore has stainless steel flower shanks with multiple rein positions, so you choose the leverage.

See them: Myler Loose Ring French Link MB 10, Myler Medium Dee MB 04 Comfort Snaffle, Toklat Cyprium 1/4 Moon Snaffle and Zilco Flower Hackamore.

Toklat saddle pads: T3 shim pads, Toklat Tango and Medallion fleece

T3 is the family pick for fit adjustment: the WoolBack Ortho Impact and FlexForm round skirt pads come with twelve felt shims that adjust an imperfect saddle fit or make up for asymmetrical muscle development. Riders tell us T3 pads really support the saddle and save their horses' backs.

For the show ring, Toklat makes the Tango Sport and Tango Geometric dressage pads and the Classics III Long Dressage Pad, and Medallion makes a fleece close contact pad that it calls one of its most popular show pads. CoolBack, WoolBack and MicroSuede cover Western, barrel and bareback pads, and Woof Wear adds a close contact saddle pad.

See them: T3 WoolBack Ortho Impact Round Skirt Pad w/Shims, T3 WoolBack FlexForm Round Skirt Pad w/Shims, Toklat Tango Sport Pad, Medallion Close Contact Pad and CoolBack Rancher Triple Thick Western Pad.

Toklat rider gear: Irideon breeches, Roeckl gloves and Champion helmets

Irideon is the family's riding apparel brand, and Roeckl is its riding glove brand. The Irideon Cadence Classic Knee Patch Breeches pull on like tights but have substantial fabric and compression like breeches, and the AirTech Hoodie is an ultra lightweight, moisture-wicking top with a ponytail opening in the hood.

Roeckl's Roeck-Grip glove is made from Roeckl's own performance textile, which Roeckl describes as supple, flexible and breathable for grip on the reins, and it is touchscreen compatible. Champion adds riding helmets and replacement liners, including the Air-Tech Classic and Air-Tech Deluxe liners.

See them: Irideon Women's Cadence Classic Knee Patch Breeches, Irideon Women's AirTech Hoodie, Roeckl Roeck-Grip Riding Gloves and Champion Air-Tech Classic Replaceable Liner. Shop every brand's full range: Irideon, Roeckl and Champion.

Toklat horse boots and wraps: Woof Wear iVent and Cavallo hoof boots

Woof Wear is the family's horse boot brand. The iVent Hybrid Brushing Boot has an injection-molded shell on breathable mesh that gives 360 degrees of cooling airflow, and Woof Wear also makes overreach boots, polo wraps and a Medical Hoof Boot that keeps wounds, poultices and dressings clean.

For hoof protection, Cavallo makes the Trek, Sport and BFB boots. Cavallo describes the Trek as flexible, durable and breathable, for trail riding, training, transport and rehabilitation, and one rider told us the boots stay on, keep dressings in place and drain well.

See them: Woof Wear iVent Hybrid Brushing Boots, Woof Wear Vision Fetlock Boot, Woof Wear Medical Hoof Boot and Cavallo Trek Boot.

Toklat blankets and coolers: Bucas turnouts, sheets and combi necks

Bucas is the family's blanket brand, from the Irish Turnout Sheet 0g to the Power Light Classic Turnout, which Bucas rates for 5F to 68F. The Power Light has a 1000D ballistic nylon outer, a stay-dry lining and an overlapping chest with a magnetic lock, with covered attachment points for a Combi-Neck sold separately.

Jammies makes the Designer Hood, which helps coats stay shiny and discourages hair loss from blanket rubs. For fly season and cooler nights, the Bucas Sun Shower sheet and Shamrock Power Cooler are on the shelf below.

See them: Bucas Irish Turnout Sheet 0g, Bucas Power Light Classic Turnout, Bucas Power Combi Neck and Jammies Designer Hood. Browse all Bucas.

Irideon Women's Cadence Classic Knee Patch Breeches

★★★★★

Been wearing Irideon breeches for years. For schooling and showing, I find them to be the best value around. The only reasonably priced breeches that fit my body. Durable, proper and attractive.

Roeckl Women's Lona Gloves

I'm a highly competitive eventer and these gloves have saved my hands time and time again. I bought a pair in 2017 and my jumping/cross-country pair only shows a bit of wear. My dressage pair still looks brand new. I love all to color options, even if I'm boring and buy black. These gloves are absolutely fantastic. They stay together and keep a good grip on the reins even if the horse is pulling hard. Though they are a bit pricey, they're worth every penny.

Toklat RanchBoss Western Fleece Cinch

★★★★★

Love these cinches! This is our third one. The fleece is great and wide enough to well protect my horse. Great value.

Myler 6" 3 Ring Combination Bit Low Port Comfort Snaffle MB 04

★★★★★

Worked just as I’d hoped. My horse was much more relaxed in this bit and very responsive to the nose and poll pressure. She didn’t chew on this bit as she does others.

Zilco Flower Hackamore

I've been riding successfully in a Dr Cooks bitless bridle for years. My guy is very sensitive to my cues and will side pass, half halt, turn on the front/rear, stop on a dime, etc in both the Dr Cooks and this Zilco hackamore. Transitioning from the Dr Cooks to the Zilco hackamore was pretty easy and my guy seemed to pick up the new cues on our first attempt. I think the Zilco hackamore is just a touch more gentle than the Dr Cooks (which uses pressure on the poll). Again, the Dr Cooks is very gentle also but I feel the Zilco hackamore is just a wee bit softer.
