Shires Moretta Women's Gianna Leather Field Boots
I have the Gianna, they have loads of size options which means I can actually have a pair of boots that fit me well! They get used most days - I don't hunt but I am an active rider - they don't receive much TLC but for the price I'm happy with how they've lasted and I have a new pair in the loft (bought on Black Friday) ready for when these ones inevitably die.

The Teramo Lace Country Boot has a waterproof membrane to above the ankle, faux fur lining and a lace front, and the Pamina pairs water-repellent nubuck with a side zip and the Shires Moretta All Terrain Riding Sole. The Jovanne adds a warm Sherpa fleece lining.
XGRIP boots such as the Vittoria and Eleonora are waterproof paddock-height boots with a multi-purpose outsole and a heel for the stirrup, made for riding, hiking and barn chores, and the Genoa is a waterproof pull-on XGRIP boot for outdoor work. Shires Aubrion makes show coats, show shirts and stock ties for the hunter, jumper and dressage ring. The Goldhawk show jacket is cut from a lightweight mesh that looks opaque when worn, and the Oxford adds perforated panels for airflow. Both have a zip hidden behind the button placket.
The Optima range covers show coats, show shirts, breeches and tights for women, men and kids. The Optima GX coat is accented with scattered tonal diamante, and the Optima LX show shirt has an iridescent diamante chain on its collar. Shires Aubrion makes knee patch and full seat breeches and riding tights. The Team Riding Tights are high rise with a wide waistband, a silicone seat and leg grips, and a thigh phone pocket. The Hudson Breggings combine the feel of breeches with a pull-on waist in competition colors.
For the show ring, the Optima breeches come for women, men and kids. The Optima LX breech has a transparent full silicone seat and a diamante chain at the front pockets. For cold months, the Porter Winter Knee Patch Tights are fleecy on the inside, with silicone knee patches and reflective detail.

Shires Karben helmets use a dial fit system for a precise fit. The Sonic Alessa has a matte shell with sparkle at the crown and a flexible standard peak, and the Sonic Marzia and Silvia come in wide-brim versions like those you see at many hunter and jumper shows.
The Amity uses six outer and ten inner vents to move warm air out, in a gloss or matte finish and a standard or wide brim. For schooling and young riders, the Matteo is a low-profile helmet with a flexible brim, a four-point harness and a washable lining.

Shires rider sizing: Moretta boots, Aubrion clothes and Karben helmets
Each Shires rider brand sizes its own way, so measure for the brand you are buying. Shires Moretta boots come in whole US sizes with calf widths from extra slim to extra wide, Shires Aubrion clothing sizes by chest, waist and hip on Shires's own charts, and Shires Karben helmets size by head circumference in centimeters.
For a tall boot, measure the widest part of your calf in the breeches you ride in and the height from the floor to the back of your knee, then match both to the Shires Moretta chart. For breeches and tights, measure your natural waist; for a show coat, your chest over a show shirt. For a helmet, measure around your head about an inch above your eyebrows.

What is the Shires Aubrion Optima line?
Optima is the Shires Aubrion competition line: show coats, show shirts, breeches and riding tights for women, men and kids. The versions, such as LX, MX, GX and PX, differ in their details, for example the diamante chain on the Optima LX show shirt and the scattered tonal diamante on the Optima GX show coat.
Which safety standards do Shires Karben helmets meet?
Shires lists ASTM F1163-23 among the standards for Shires Karben riding helmets such as the Sonic Alessa, Marzia and Amity, alongside European standards such as EN 1384.
