Pull-On Winter Riding Tights

The Shires Aubrion Winter Riding Tights are brushed on the inside, with a high, curved waistband for core support and four-way stretch. The Horze Active Winter has a brushed fleece lining and a mid-rise that's easy to layer, and the Ramona adds reflective side panels for dark mornings.

Dapplebay's Winter Essential tights use a mid-weight brushed fleece with a windproof, waterproof outer layer and a high-rise waistband. Horseware's Optifit Winter has two deep thigh pockets and a zip pocket at the back waistband, and the navy pair adds reflective thigh detail.

Fleece Knee Patch Breeches for Barn and Saddle

The TuffRider Unifleece Pull-On has a fleece lining, UltraGripp knee patches, a front zip pocket and contoured sock bottoms, and TuffRider makes a men's version, the Patrol Unifleece. Kerrits Fleece Lite II tights are lightweight, with brushed fleece inside, a 3.5-inch waistband and GripSoft knee patches.

Winter Riding Pants and Waterproof Trousers

The Horze Cheyenne Padded Winter Riding Pants have side slits with press buttons, elastic straps to keep them in place, a suede-like full seat and reflective piping. Horseware's Padded Liner Trousers are a ski-style, fleece-lined softshell with padding where you need it and side zips at the hem for boots. They're unisex, so men should size up.

LeMieux makes two Stormwear styles. The Stormwear Waterproof Trousers add silicone knee grips, adjustable boot straps and reflective zipped pockets, and the Stormwear Stretch Waterproof Trousers are a softshell with lower-leg silicone grip and cargo pockets for barn work and riding.
