Our mission is to provide you with an outstanding customer experience every time you shop with us. This Return Policy covers all items purchased through TackoftheDay.com. It's designed to give you confidence that we stand behind the products on our website and to make returns easy if you're not fully satisfied with an item.
Tack of the Day offers free returns on any item that you or your horse can wear, within 30 days after delivery for a refund of the purchase price, as long as the item is in its original condition and packaging. Items that have been used or modified in any way may not be returned or may be subject to a 20% restocking fee or returned to you if the item is not resellable.

Non-sized items (saddle pads, cleaning products, barn signs, etc) can be returned for a flat rate of $10, and will be deducted from the refund.
If you are returning an item outside of the 48 contiguous US States, you must pay for return shipping. Duties and taxes you may have paid to government agencies are non refundable.
Returns may take up to 10 business days to process. We know your refund is important to you. While we make every effort to make refunds for returns within 5 business days after they are processed, during times of high volume or labor shortages, refunds for returns may take up to 30 calendar days. Refunds may take 7-10 days for funds to be returned to your credit card based on your bank's policies.
The following items may not be returned:
a. Items marked as final sale or "non-returnable" on the product page or during the checkout process;
b. Gift cards
c. Socks, underwear and undergarments
Please note, if you got a free gift with purchase, you must return that free gift item or the full retail price of the gift will be deducted from your refund.
Damaged and Defective Items
In the unlikely event that an item you ordered arrives damaged or is defective, you may return the item (and any other items from that order if they are part of a set) for a replacement or a full refund.
To report an issue with an item, please contact us using our Contact Us Form. You may be required to submit photographs of the damaged or defective product and its packaging (the original packaging is required to facilitate a return unless it was damaged in transit and is unusable).
FREE Exchanges (US Customers only)
Please understand that our stock on many of our sales items is limited. As such, we can only process exchanges for items listed for sale currently on our website, we cannot exchange for a back ordered item. If you wish to exchange an item and want to ensure that the stock is reserved for you, you must place a new order for the item, once your exchange is received, we will process a refund for the original order, less original shipping charges.
Stock is available on a first come, first served basis. We are unable to hold stock without a paid order.

If you wish to exchange and do not want to place a new order ahead of sending back your item, there is a chance that the item you want to exchange for may be out of stock when your return arrives at our facility. We may end up having to cancel your order and refund you, if the item you want in exchange sells out. We highly recommend placing a replacement order first and then sending your item back for a refund.
Customers outside of the 48 contiguous US States are not eligible for our exchange program. While we do welcome returns, you are responsible for all return shipping charges. Please consider this when you place your order, as we will not be able to refund any shipping charges, only the purchase price.

Some products may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Contact us if an item shows signs of abnormal defects and we can help advise you about its warranty coverage.
