JP Korsteel Curved Hunter Dee Ring Snaffle Bit

The JP Korsteel Curved Hunter Dee takes a classic hunter bit and adds an ergonomic curved mouthpiece.

Hunter Dees are used primarily for over fences. The straight sides of the Dee prevent pinching and provide a fair amount of lateral control of the bit. The curved Dee on this mouthpiece moderates the nutcracker action on a traditional snaffle. This bit provides a balance between control and comfort. Because of the fixed position of the cheeks, this bit is not frequently used in dressage which generally requires more sensitivity.
