Horseware Ireland makes several blanket lines and they are genuinely different products rather than price tiers of the same thing. Rambo is the flagship: the heaviest outer fabrics, the most hardware, and the chest and shoulder shaping that makes it the one riders reach for on a horse that destroys blankets. Amigo is the everyday line, built to the same shape principles with lighter materials. Rhino sits between them, and Mio is the entry line, which we carry in small numbers.
Turnout and stable are not interchangeable. A turnout blanket is waterproof and is built to live outside in the rain. A stable blanket is not waterproof and belongs indoors only. Putting a stable blanket on a horse in a wet field is the commonest and most expensive blanket mistake there is.
We carry Horseware, Rambo, Amigo and Rhino, often priced well below full retail. Stock rotates as the brand clears seasonal inventory, so the sizes and weights available change through the season rather than staying constant.
Denier and fill do different jobs. Denier measures how tough the outer shell is — 1200D resists a determined horse better than 600D. Fill, measured in grams, measures warmth and is completely independent of denier. A 1200D sheet with zero fill is a tough rain layer, not a warm one.
