How do I measure a dog for a coat?
Most dog coats are sized by back length. Measure from the base of the neck, where the collar sits, to the base of the tail, then check the brand’s size chart on the product page. Brands size a little differently, so measure again when you switch brands.
Can the dog match the horse?
Yes. Equinavia’s Norse plaid and Horseware’s Newmarket and Signature lines come in horse and dog sizes, and Norse and Newmarket also come in goat sizes, so the whole barn can match.
Do goats wear coats?
Many goat owners use a coat in cold, wet weather. Goat coats are cut for a goat’s shape and come waterproof, with or without fill, or as a fleece. Measure the goat’s back length and check the size chart before you order.
What if I don’t know the dog’s size?
Choose a lead, a bandana, a bowl or a blanket, where size doesn’t matter, or give an e-Gift Card so they can choose.
