The Equinavia Arktis VariFlex Turnout Blanket is unlike a traditional horse blanket. Traditional blankets feature the exact same insulation thickness throughout, which can lead to horses overheating along their lower belly while their major back muscles and loin remain chilled. The VariFlex system fixes this by mapping the insulation directly to a horse's natural thermoregulation needs. Built with a rugged 1200D ripstop outer shell, this waterproof blanket features a specialized zonal filling pattern. It targets core body heat by delivering a cozy 300g polyfill across the back and loin, tapering to a 200g mid-body fill, and finishing with a lightweight 100g layer along the bottom edge. This strategic gradient keeps vital organs warm and protected from freezing rain or snow, while shedding unnecessary weight at the bottom to ensure comfortable freedom of movement.
