CLICK Fetlock Shields are soft, flexible, comfortable, sturdy bed sore boots for horses.
They are made with two layers of a super-tough Cordura-like fabric and lined with smooth Nylon that covers a layer of soft padding. They can be worn 24 hours a day, every day if needed. They are a big improvement over the upside-down bell boot that your horse will appreciate.
Why not just keep using upside down bellboots? Unlike flipped bell boots, the Fetlock Shield never leaves the pastern area exposed. They are lighter and taller than bell boots and they dont chafe. They fit loosely and have a smooth lining so bedding and other bits of stuff can fall out the bottom. You can have anyone put them on your horse, even if they arent a horse person.
