What's the difference between knee patch and full seat breeches?

Knee patch breeches have grip at the inside of the knee. Full seat breeches have grip from the knee through the seat for more hold. Hunter and equitation riders usually wear knee patch, and dressage riders often choose full seat.

What do I wear under a show coat?

A show shirt with a collar. Many have a wrap collar that closes with snaps, and some add mesh under the sleeves to stay cool.

Can I machine wash a show coat?

Some show coats are machine washable, such as the Kerrits Stretch Competitor Koat and the Tredstep Airlite II. Check the care instructions on each product page.

What does UPF 50+ mean on a riding shirt?

UPF is a rating for how much UV light a fabric blocks. A UPF 50+ fabric lets through less than one fiftieth of the sun's UV rays.

How do I find my breeches size?

Many breeches are sized by waist in inches, and some European brands also use EU sizes, such as EU 36 / US 24. Check the size chart on each product page.
