Toklat family · Pull-on riding wear
Irideon makes pull-on breeches and tights in Cadence stretch cord, 4-way stretch and winter fleece, plus jackets, vests and shirts. Choose knee patch for freedom of movement or full seat for grip, then size by waist and hips.

Riders tell us their Irideon breeches and tights wear for years and stay cool in summer heat.
I live in Texas where we have hot, hot and humid weather most of the year. These are the ONLY breeches/tights I own and have done for 15 years. Very breathable and never stay wet either from sweat or the wash rack, wicking the moisture away. I've had some of mine for more than 10 years and though a bit faded from washing, they are still 100%. I even have a small hole in the thigh of one pair and it's been years and it never ran or got bigger. These are great quality, comfy, durable and even perfect for just working around the barn in 100 degrees.
You can’t beat their Windpro winter breeches. Super warm and durable. Wash and dry well. I have two pair which I alternate during the cold months and even wear them on no ride days. Just can’t beat 'em!
I’ve got the Kerrits microcords with the leather seat, and I’ve got Irideon’s cadence full seats. LOVE my Irideons. So much so that they get worn almost every ride, and the Kerrits have fallen way to the bottom of my breeches. The one thing I really like is that the seat on the Irideons is cut higher. With my Kerrits, I always feel like I’m sitting on the seam, and it drives me crazy. More Irideons please (No noises either)
Wear like iron. Flattering. Breathable. Dont show ever but if dirt. I love these. I have 6 pairs. I have tried others but I get miserably hot or they just attract too much dirt.
Start with Cadence for everyday riding, choose Hampshire or Zanzibar tights for a smooth modern look, and step up to Circuit Show Pant when the show ring calls. Irideon's pull-on design is the thread running through every line, and the seat decides the rest: knee patch for freedom of movement, full seat for grip.
The Cadence Classic Knee Patch Breeches are the original Irideon design: pull on like tights, with the substance and compression of breeches. Cadence stretch-cord leg panels and gripper elastic at the ankle keep them in place from trail to jump-off. Irideon brought the Classics back because, in its words, everyone loves them, and riders who own Cadence full seats tell us they wear them almost every ride.
The Hampshire Knee Patch Tights are 79% nylon, 16% polyester and 5% spandex with 4-way stretch, Chamisoft synthetic suede knee patches and ventilated jacquard mesh calves for under tall boots. The Zanzibar Tights add a faux front zip, contrast piping and Euro seat seaming for the look of a traditional breech without the fuss.
For show days, the Circuit Show Pant is a zipper-free, pull-on showmanship pant in Posi-Core fabric with extra length for a custom inseam. Camber Knee Patch Breeches bring a Euro seat, belt loops and horsehead tread silicone knee patches for a more tailored schooling look. Issential tights are the plain, lightweight option, and riders who want more coverage move to a full seat.
Irideon knee patch breeches and tights
Shop all ›The Hampshire breeches are made of 79% nylon, 16% polyester and 5% spandex, but I’m pretty positive there’s 1% magic thrown in there, too. No matter what I do to these breeches, they still look brand new after every wash. I even spilled Neatsfoot oil on them once, and the stain came out in the washing machine.
I’ve always loved these tights, and after 8 years I figured it was time for new ones. They fit really great, and I love the pockets.
Irideon's lightest options are Issential Capriole capris, Radiant half seat tights with cooling mesh, the quick-dry stretch woven Terra Trail Pant and the Cadence stretch cord.
The Issential Capriole Capri Knee Patch Tights stop at mid-calf, with a compressive fit, hand pockets that are nearly undetectable and horse head tread knee patches with a next-to-nothing feel. Irideon lists them for Spring and Summer.
Riders tell us the fabric stays cool and dries fast. A Texas rider has worn the same brand for 15 years in humid heat, and an Iowa rider found tights she could ride in on a hot, humid day without overheating, even in black.
Love these tights! They are lightweight and very comfortable to wear and ride in!! For the first time in years I was actually comfortable riding in the hot and humid summer weather of Iowa. They kept my lower body so cool I didn't realize how warm and humid it was until I was done riding and realized my shirt was damp as well as my hair under my helmet...and I was wearing black tights! I am a believer now and will be interested in trying the full seat tights as well.
I have owned several pair of these riding tights in various colors, patch styles and leg styles (sock vs. non sock vs. bootcut). I fall back to these regularly for summer riding as the fabric is fairly thin and dries quickly.
Irideon splits winter by weather: WindPro for wet and windy days, Thermasoft for cold, dry rides and TechFleece for a smooth outer with a fleece interior.
The WindPro Knee Patch Breeches w/Sock are 88% nylon and 12% spandex, described by Irideon as rain, snow, wind and mud resistant, with edge-stitched, overlocked seams, a 1.5 inch no-roll waistband and a jacquard mesh sock that breathes inside tall boots. Chamisoft knee patches or a full seat give non-slip grip. Riders tell us they are warm, durable and wash and dry well.
The Thermasoft Knee Patch Breeches are pull-on breeches in warm, winter-weight Thermasoft fleece, with belt loops and criss-cross fleece pockets whose inner layer keeps a phone from scratching. Hampshire TechFleece styles add a fleece interior with rain-resistant fabric on the outside.
Irideon winter breeches and tights

Best: Irideon pull-on winter tights. I think they're called Thermasoft. Warm yet not too thick. Stretchy and long.
Irideon layers match the breeches: a thin vest or quilted jacket for warmth without bulk, and cooling mesh shirts for the saddle.
The Katrina Techfleece Vest has a smooth outer that sheds hair, shavings and dust over thin fleece insulation, with a hidden-zip back hip pocket. The AirLoft Jacket uses stitch-free quilting for lightweight, breathable warmth, with a two-way zipper and thumbhole cuffs. Riders tell us Irideon's thin vests are warm yet easy to layer under a jacket.
For trail days, the Aspen Long Sleeve Trail Shirt pairs 4-way stretch fabric with IceMesh for a cool, moisture-wicking feel, with roll-up sleeves and back darts. For the ring, the Arena Show Shirt completes a Circuit Show Pant look.
Irideon riding tops and shirts
Shop all ›This thin vest somehow manages to be quite warm when needed and not too hot when it’s warm. I’ve worn it in 35 degree temps (with layered jackets on top) up to 70 degree temps with comfort. Yes, I was riding that day it was 70 degrees, and I didn’t feel overheated at all.
It’s significantly warmer than my puffier vest I previously wore. Because it is so thin, it doesn’t bulk you up nearly as much when you need to add extra layers on top.
Size an Irideon bottom by waist and hips first: find both on the chart, then confirm with the Size row. Bust is the guide for tops. All measurements on the chart are in inches.
Riders tell us Irideon sizing tracks real-world sizes. A plus-size rider calls it the closest to true of the brands she wears, and another finds Irideon's winter tights much stretchier than Kerrits'.
Kids' sizes go by height: XS (size 6) fits 48 inches, S (7-8) fits 51 to 53 inches, M (10-12) fits 55 to 58, L (14-16) fits 60 to 62.5 and XL (18) fits 63. Measure before you order and size up for growth only when your rider is between sizes.

I've ridden in Irideon for a long time, and as a plus size rider I think they have the best sizing, close to "real world." Noble and Kerrits both seem to be snug.
As for the fit of the Irideon vs. Kerrits winter tights, I found the Irideons to be much more stretchy.
Irideon riding wear is for riders who want pull-on breeches and tights that fit real figures, move freely and last through years of washing.
Look elsewhere if you want a leather full seat or a zip-fly breech: Irideon's bottoms are mainly pull-on, and the grip comes from synthetic Chamisoft patches and silicone.
I do like the cut because they are made for ladies with 'junk in the trunk.' Most brands of breeches I have tried end up way too low in the back and too high in the front due to my build, and these breeches definitely do not do that!
I'm surprised that other reviewers are complaining about durability. I have a pair that are at least 8 years old that are still going strong with regular wearing and washing. (I sort of wish they'd die so I could replace them since I'm tired of them, but that's a good problem to have). They're comfortable, are good from hot to pretty cold weather, the seat has a good grip, and the fit is flattering. I have 3 pairs. Since they're pull-on, they can accommodate a range of figures.
Choose knee patch for freedom of movement and a closer feel of the saddle, and full seat when you want grip across the whole seat. Irideon makes both in Cadence, Hampshire and WindPro lines. Try the Cadence Classic knee patch first, then add a full seat pair for show days.
CloseSize bottoms by waist and hips on the Irideon chart, then check the Size row. Use bust for tops. Riders tell us the sizing runs close to real-world sizes. Kids size by height, from XS at 48 inches to XL at 63 inches. Measure first, then pick the size where waist and hips both match.
CloseWindPro and Thermasoft are Irideon's winter breeches. WindPro resists rain, snow, wind and mud, which suits wet, windy days; Thermasoft is warm winter-weight fleece for cold, dry rides. Hampshire TechFleece adds a fleece interior. Pick WindPro for weather and Thermasoft for pure warmth.
CloseMany Irideon styles are listed as machine washable, including the Zanzibar Tights and the Katrina TechFleece Vest. Check the care row on the product page before washing.
CloseIrideon is for riders who want pull-on breeches and tights that fit real figures, from trail riders to show competitors, with kids' sizes in most lines. It suits you if you value stretch and comfort over a traditional zip fly. Start with the Cadence Classic Knee Patch Breeches.
