Toklat Snaffle Mouth Tom Thumb Pelham

This bit features short pelham cheeks and a single joint snaffle mouth.

A pelham is a dual use bit. Used with doubled reins, pressure on the snaffle ring creates direct pressure action like a dee ring or eggbutt. Pressure on the curb rein creates leverage action in same way as a curb cheek. The shorter cheeks on a Tom Thumb lessen the leverage difference between the two reins.
