Collegiate bridles: which line fits your horse
Collegiate bridles come in four lines that differ by material and by how the headpiece is padded or shaped. Pick the material you want to care for, then the headpiece your horse is most comfortable in.
Most Collegiate Syntovia+, Essential and Comfort Crown bridles come with rubber reins, and the fancy stitched cavesson styles come with laced reins. The Comfitec bridles are a different shape: the headpiece is anatomic and the noseband is ergonomic, so they suit a horse that is fussy about the poll or the ears.

Collegiate reins: flat, laced and rubber
Collegiate sells reins by themselves in the same lines as its bridles, so you can match them to the bridle you already own. The Syntovia+ Plain Flat Reins and Syntovia+ Rubber Reins are synthetic leather with hook and stud billets, and the Essential Plain Laced Reins are traditional flat leather reins that measure 5/8 inch by 54 inches.
The One Sided Rubber Reins have rubber grip on the inside and smooth leather on the outside, so they look like a traditional leather rein with the grip of rubber. The Syntovia+ reins wipe clean and, according to Collegiate, need only mild soapy water and air drying.

Collegiate breastplates and martingales
Collegiate breastplates and martingales come in synthetic and European leather, all with stainless steel fittings. The Essential 5-Point Breastplate attaches to the saddle at five points to reduce slipping, has elastic inserts for stretch over fences, and comes with a removable martingale attachment.
The standing martingales, the Raised Standing Martingale II and the Fancy Stitched Raised Standing Martingale II, are matched to the Collegiate mono crown and Comfort Crown bridle collections. Running martingales come in the Essential, Syntovia+ and European leather Running Martingale IV styles.

Collegiate memory foam and anatomic girths
Collegiate girths come in two builds: memory foam and anatomic. The Memory Foam Girth is a long English girth with memory foam padding, dual elastic ends, stainless steel roller buckles and a center D-ring for training equipment.
The Memory Foam Dressage Girth is a shaped short girth in neoprene with elastic at both ends. The Anatomic Girth is a lightweight synthetic girth with internal elastic and a curved shape that Collegiate says leaves the horse free to move; it is described as non-galling and easy to maintain. Girths run from 18 to 56 inches on Tack of the Day.

Collegiate saddles, gullets and stirrup leathers
Collegiate saddles use a simple and quick changeable gullet system with a synthetic wool panel, so you can change the width as your horse changes shape. The Honour Close Contact Saddle is a double leather jumping saddle with contrast and ghost stitching, a square cantle and molded knee pads.
Optifit and Series III gullets come in sizes from narrow to extra wide and are used in older Collegiate styles, so check your saddle before you order. Collegiate also makes stirrup leathers: the Luxe leathers have a webbing core to prevent stretching, and the 1/2 Hole leathers have holes every half inch.
