WeatherBeeta turnout lines compared
WeatherBeeta builds its Comfitec turnout blankets in lines that differ by outer shell and fill. Essential, Plus Dynamic, Legend, Heritage and Prelim use a 1200 denier ripstop shell with a PFC-free Guard-Tec coating. Classic, Tyro and Frontier use 600 denier, and Ultra uses an 1800 denier shell with a Teflon EcoElite coating. All of them are listed as waterproof and breathable, and the product pages quote hydrostatic pressure testing of 2,000mm and above.

Fill weights from 0g to 360g
Fill is the polyfill insulation inside the blanket, measured in grams. A 0g blanket has no fill, so it works as a waterproof sheet. 50g and 100g are the light fills, 220g is the middle weight and 360g is the heaviest WeatherBeeta lists on these blankets. WeatherBeeta describes the 100g polyfill as warmth for cooler climates and the 360g polyfill as added warmth.
Because most Comfitec turnouts list compatibility with the WeatherBeeta liner system, a lighter blanket can be layered with a liner when the weather turns colder.

Detach-A-Neck, combo neck and neck covers
A Detach-A-Neck blanket has a neck cover that attaches to the blanket and can come off, so one blanket works with or without a neck. The Ultra Detach-A-Neck lists a removable, waterproof Snug-Fit neck cover. A combo neck blanket has the neck cover built in; the product pages call it an integrated neck cover that is not removable. Plus Dynamic also comes in a High Neck style.
A neck cover is sold separately and fits the matching Detach-A-Neck and standard-neck styles. The Essential neck cover, for example, is listed as fitting the Essential Detach-A-Neck and Standard styles, and the Ultra neck cover as fitting the Ultra Standard and Detach-A-Neck styles. Fleece coolers, quarter sheets and liners
WeatherBeeta's fleece coolers are for cooling out, traveling and showing. The Anti-Static Fleece Cooler is lightweight anti-pill polyester fleece with anti-static technology and wicking properties. The Sherpa Fleece Cooler has a thermal Sherpa fleece lining with 300g of polyfill, and the Elite Fleece Cooler has a Sherpa fleece lining and a Cozi-collar. None of them is waterproof.
For riding in wet weather, the Waterproof Fleece Quarter Sheet has a 1200 denier shell with a fleece lining and attaches with touch tape straps to the girth straps or stirrup leathers. The Anti Static Fleece Quarter Sheet is lighter polyester fleece, and the Reflective Wrap Around Exercise Sheet is showerproof with all-over reflective material.
Comfitec Liners come in 50g, 100g, 200g and 300g and layer under compatible WeatherBeeta blankets. WeatherBeeta describes the 100g liner as made for added comfort in colder months.
