Hunter riders wear knee patch breeches. Jumper and dressage riders usually choose a full seat for more grip in the saddle.

About Equine Couture: show-ring style at an everyday price

Equine Couture is the riding apparel brand of JPC Equestrian, the American company that also makes TuffRider. It covers breeches and riding tights, show coats and show shirts, riding tops, sweaters and jackets, gloves, boot socks, belts and barn bags, plus saddle pads and fly bonnets for the horse.

The look is traditional with a bright, preppy twist: show coats with colored arm stripes, printed riding tights and boot socks, and bonnets trimmed with crystals, beads and pearls that coordinate with your pad. The EcoRider sport shirts are made from recycled plastic bottles.
