Tredstep Tall Boots Sizing Guide
Measure your calf and boot height once, then read your Tredstep size off the chart.
Tredstep tall boots fit by foot size, calf width and boot height. Measure your calf and the height from the crease behind your knee to the floor, then find both numbers in the chart for your size.
How to measure for Tredstep tall boots
You need two numbers: the width of your calf and the height from the crease behind your knee to the floor. Tredstep says all of its riding boots are B fitting and come in full European sizes, and that sizes differ from brand to brand, so go by the chart rather than your usual boot size.
- Put on the socks and breeches you ride in.
- Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your calf. That is your calf width (A).
- Bend your knee to 90 degrees and put a finger in the crease behind it. Measure straight down to the floor. That is your boot height (B).
- Find your foot size in the charts below, then read across for the calf widths and heights Tredstep lists for that size.

Medici II and Sirani dress and field boots share one Tredstep chart, so these heights apply to both. Heights are in centimeters from the floor. Short is listed for EU 36 to 41 and extra tall for EU 38 to 41; a dash means Tredstep does not list that height in that size.

These widths are for regular height, in inches around the calf. Short and tall heights use the same widths, but Tredstep lists fewer of them. Donatello III runs from XX Slim at 11 inches to Full + at 17¼ inches.
