D.E.R stands for Recurrent Summer Dermatitis (Dermatite Estiva Recidivante)- commonly known as Sweet Itch. Bites from blood-sucking insects, especially the female Culicoides (small midge) cause skin lesions and severe itching. Despite all precautions, most horses get fly bites. This Gel is made from the extracts of Helichrysum (sunflower family) and Marigold, Nigella Oil, Primrose Oil, and Vitamin E. The soothing properties of Helichrysum and refreshing actions of Marigold make this gel particularly suitable for topical treatment of dermatitis and other skin conditions. Nigella Oil has natural properties that make this Gel particularly effective at relieving itching. Primrose Oil soothes and Vitamin E has moisturizing properties. Made in Italy.
