These are the warmest breeches I've found. They're technically tights, but they have the look of breeches. They are thick with a fleece lining, so I can wear them when it's in the 20s. I love the high waist (higher in the back). The full seat grip isn't too sticky, it's just right. I have a pair in navy, and I loved them so much, I got them in the khaki color too.

How to choose full seat breeches: grip, rise and weight
Full seat breeches have grip across the whole seat, so they suit dressage riders, jumper riders and anyone schooling a green or hard-to-sit horse. Hunter riders usually choose knee patch, even on the flat.
Grip first. Silicone full seat styles such as the Equinavia Astrid and Victoria and the Horze Tara and Active hold the seat in place, and riders describe the Astrid grip as secure without being too sticky. Full-grip tights such as the Equinavia Inga Fusion and Mia use an extended patch.
Then rise. High rise styles include the Horze Desiree, Kaia denim and Tara; mid rise includes the Equinavia Astrid, Victoria and Madeleine. About 38 of the styles we carry list a high rise and about 39 a mid rise; the rest do not state one.
Then weight. About 27 styles are named thermo or winter, and eight are named summer, UV, cooling or breathable. Read the fabric on the product page: a fleece-lined thermo tight and a knit summer breech are different jobs.

Equinavia is the label launched in 2025 to pair Scandinavian quality with American style. Its full seat range runs from the Astrid, Victoria, Maud and Madeleine breeches to the Linnea compression tights and the Inga and Mia full-grip tights, plus the Erik and Anders for men.
Horze is the largest line here, with more than 60 full seat styles: Grand Prix, Active, Tara, Desiree and the Kaia denim, in women's and kids' sizes. Equinavia is Horze's sole U.S. distributor.
B Vertigo, one of the Equinavia family of brands, adds show-ring cuts such as the Tiffany and Meghan and thermo tights such as the Aurelia. Tredstep, also named in the family, is here with the Trace and Evolute breeches and Allegro and Tempo compression tights.

Kids' and men's full seat breeches
Kids' full seat breeches are mostly Horze: Active, Grand Prix, Tara High Waist and Gillian, with the Equinavia Ronja tights and Greta winter breeches. Sizes run US 6 to 14 and XXS to XXL, and the EU number is the child's height in centimeters.
Men's styles are few and worth knowing: Equinavia Erik and Anders, Horze Grand Prix, B Vertigo Damien and Tredstep Pro.
