The turnout's high neck cut, cross belly surcingles and tail strap help prevent it from slipping and keep it secure and safe, even when rolling. The Vari Layer insulation puts most insulation on the top of the rug where it is needed, and less on the side. This gives your horse all the warmth of 250g blanket, but less weight for you when taking the blanket on and off.
