In the event of a fall the outer safety arm flexes under pressure, allowing escape of the foot and reducing incidence of serious injury to the rider. Following release, the rubber arm retains its original shape and purpose as a supportive lateral arm.
The stirrup is designed in ultra-light aluminium, cast for strength and with sleek lines. Low maintenance powder coating gives a durable and attractive finish. The foot plate is deep and secure, deep grip treads give excellent wet or dry traction, making the stirrups ideal for fast work. Secure and stabilising, the weighted base is shock absorbing to keep legs energised. The stirrups angled eyelet offers a more naturally optimised hip, knee and foot alignment and assists with retrieval.
