This bit features full cheeks with gag rings and straps with a Nathe mullen mouth.
A gag cheeks attach to the reins and slide through the bit when pressure is applied. This impacts the tongue, poll, and corners of the mouth. The full cheek portion of the bit provides lateral contact for horses that tend to fall out on turns, and also means this bit can be used with two reins - one on the gag, and the other on the full cheek. This bit is designed for technically demanding riding, and should only be used by experienced riders.
Thermoplastic is an excellent material for sensitive horses. It is anti-allergic, food safe and solvent free. Its exterior is temperature neutral and the steel core stays flexible when cold. Cheek pieces are made of high quality stainless steel.
