This pelham bit features a single jointed, curved mouthpiece. The curvature of the mouthpiece offers a more anatomical fit for the comfort of the horse. When pressure is placed on the reins, this bit will exert pressure on the tongue and bars of the mouth with additional pressure placed on the poll of the horse. This pelham offers a shorter shank, which has a milder leverage and curb effect. Includes an attached curb chain.
This bit is designed for use with either two reins, or a single rein with a bit converter (sold separately).
