Never again will you forget to check today's item at
TackoftheDay.com. We have hired the best Geeks to design for you
this State of the Art alert system. We are horse people and have a
lot on our minds, and we don't always remember the important things in life --
like checking Tack of the Day! With this FREE program you will
never forget again!
What does this nifty program do?
It is a small program you install on your computer that does one thing - it
tells you what today's product is automatically every day at noon. You
don't even have to remember to go to the website and you will never miss a great
deal again! It is simply a Tack of the Day reminder alert!
How does it work?
The installation program puts a little icon in your system tray (that area of
your Start bar near your clock) like this:

Then, when there is a message from Tack of the Day, it whinnies and blinks to
let you know that a new product has been posted. Just click on the icon
and a window opens just like this one (only a little bigger)!

To see more information about the deal, just click the link.
When you're done with the window, click "Hide this window."
How much does this puppy cost?
It is absolutely positively free! Be assured we DO NOT install any spyware
on your computer!
What do I need to run this program?
You just need a PC running Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows
XP. Sorry, but this program will not work on Macs. It doesn't take
much disk space, and doesn't use a lot of memory.

questions below.

Installation Questions?
It is telling me that I have to install a
third-party component called ".NET Framework 1.1". What is that and
is it safe?
The .NET Framework is free software from Microsoft that is required
for many of the latest software programs. It is completely safe, and
supported by Microsoft. Click [Yes] and then follow the instructions.
I'm getting a message that says "Installation
of the component failed. Continue anyway?" What should I do?
That means that the Microsoft .NET Framework did not install
properly. Click [No], since our program will not run without the .NET
Framework. Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
and make sure that your system is up to date with the latest patches from
Microsoft. Restart your computer, and then try installing our program
again.
My antispyware or antivirus program is asking
me whether I want to allow or block this program - what should I do?
Please allow our program. The Whinny Alert adds itself to
your Startup program group, so that it starts every time you start your
computer. This causes some antispyware/antivirus programs to prompt you
for confirmation that you are really trying to install the software.
I'm getting an error message called ".NET
Framework Initialization Error" that says that I need to install the .NET
Framework. What should I do?
Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
and make sure that your system is up to date with the latest patches from
Microsoft. After you install the latest patches, restart your
computer. Then, click here to
download and install the Microsoft .NET Framework.
How do I get rid of this thing?
Click the Start menu, go to Programs, go to TackoftheDay.com, and click the
shortcut called "Tack of the Day.com Whinny Alert Uninstaller". Alternatively,
click Start, Settings, "Control Panel," and "Add or Remove Programs."
Select "TackoftheDay.com Whinny Alert" and click "Remove."
